Foo Fighter’s Singer Dave Grohl shares that he’s become a father “outside of my marriage”
Dave Grohl, the 55-year-old former Nirvana drummer has shared that he has become a father outside of his marriage with his wife Jordyn Blum and is “doing everything I can to regain the trust” of his family.
The Foo Fighters frontman took to his official Instagram account today Tuesday, September 10 to reveal that he has become the father of a new baby girl with someone outside of his wedlock. He and Blum share three daughters Violet, Harper, and Ophelia.
The statement reads:
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Violet and Harper have since deactivated their Instagram accounts. Violet has become known in recent years for touring with Foo Fighters alongside her father and is featured on the band’s 2023 track ‘Show Me How’ from their emotional album ‘But Here We Are‘. It was written after the loss of Grohl’s mother Virginia and late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins
