Limp Bizkit Hypes ‘Loserville’ Tour with New AI-Generated Music Video for “Turn It Up, Bitch,” from 2021’s ‘Still Sucks’ LP

Limp Bizkit has enjoyed a bit of a nostalgic boom over the past few years, playing to massive festival crowds worldwide

Fred Durst and his nu-metal brethren have parlayed that run into the Loserville tour, which is scheduled to begin in mid-July with special guests Corey Feldman, Riff Raff, Bones, Eddy Baker, and N8NOFACE — but the band has also taken the opportunity to reintroduce its 2021 record, Still Sucks.

Case in point: Here’s a new music video for “Turn It Up, Bitch,” which looks like it’s completely AI-generated and displays renderings of Durst and his bandmates in a variety of different (and wide-ranging) styles:

Back when the Still Sucks album landed, Limp Bizkit also released a video for “Out Of Style,”and that one, too, was heavy on digital manipulation (this one, “deepfake” style):

While on the topic of Limp Bizkit music videos, it’s worth pointing out that “Nookie,” one of Bizkit’s biggest hits and a now-iconic music video, just celebrated its 25th anniversary in mid-June … so if you’re curious why you’re already going grey and your back hurts, that’s why.

Back to Bizkit in 2024 — the Loserville tour is coming up quickly, and to help promote this highly unexpected assortment of musical acts, the talent gathered together in a room earlier in the summer for what was supposed to be a group interview/tour promo directed by Durst. He is an actual movie director with his own IMDB.com, you may or may not recall, so he knows his way around a camera.

And that’s very much the case with this promo video. It completely falls off the rails into the absurd quickly. Kudos to everyone involved — Durst, Riff Raff, Limp Bizkit guitarist/demanding banana enthusiast Wes Borland, the excessively in-character Bones, and the self-referential Feldman for fully diving into the deadpan wildness of this video, because it’s a pretty amusing ride for its 17 minutes:
